Dhoni Stella offers two traditional dhoni yachts for cruising the magnificent islands of the Maldives in authentic style. Each yacht has just two cabin suites, accommodating between two and six guests on a luxurious private charter. Maldives aficionados will experience a different side of the classic barefoot beach getaway, cruising the archipelago with family or friends onboard a charming traditional boat with plenty of soul.

These two dhoni yachts blend classic Maldivian craftsmanship with modern convenience. Built largely with locally sourced wood, the finishing touches evoke an era of simplicity and elegance, with a hint of nostalgia for the dhonis of times gone by.

Guests onboard Dhoni Stella are invited to design their cruise alongside the knowledgable crew, combining footloose wandering with scuba diving, snorkelling, surfing, fishing and island hopping. A dedicated crew of 4 includes a captain, a chef, a steward and a dive guide. The yachts are equipped with a motorised dinghy for heading ashore, wifi and on request; diving equipment, snorkelling gear and fishing rods.

Onboard Experience

Dhoni Stella I is designed with couples or small families in mind. The master cabin suite features a king-size bed, while a secondary cabin offers a twin set up, accommodating a maximum of four guests onboard.

Dhoni Stella II is ideal for slightly larger groups, with two triple cabins each featuring one double bed and a single bed, accommodating a maximum of six guests onboard.

All cabins feature ample storage space and are equipped with air-conditioning, hot water showers, power outlets, linens, bath towels, bathrobes, beach towels, shower gel, shampoo and moisturiser, hair dryers and water jugs. Flat screen TVs and DVD players enable a relaxed evening of watching movies or listening to music.

Outside, each yacht has a spacious oiled teak top deck catching the ocean breeze, fitted with four sun loungers and an optional bimini that can be raised for shade on hot days. By night, the top deck can be set up for an alfresco candlelit dinner under a canopy of stars. The aft deck can again be open to the elements or shaded depending on guests’ preference and offers the ideal spot to set up for diving and fishing adventures.
